The town of Jin has had its fair share of troubles. Perhaps a bit more if you ask the people from that town. Jin is located in Eastwood by the ocean.
Up to date on construction(From the eyes of citizens):
Many important buildings have been put back up. It's been quite a few years since it was destroyed by that fae kid. Quite a few of us knew who he was as a good kid, but all our opinions are skewed by what has happened to our beloved town. The workers have been oh so helpful. We have put up many buildings other than just the bank, town hall, market place, and other vital buildings. Many have managed to pitch tents or build a temporary house until we can actually build houses to live in. The damage was more severe than we expected it would be. The buildings weren't left in chunks but more of dust. No one has a clue what happened to the Guardian of the Fae whom destroyed our wondrous town. Speculation of what happened to the kid and his group of friends remains open.
History of the town-
The town of Jin was founded by fae a long, long time ago. It was chosen to be on the cliff of Patlorn. Patlorn became more famous as many fae were intrigued by its massive height above the sea level and how deep the cliff ran. The fae, known as Master Xanthus Grand, who founded the town began by setting up a small site to investigate the east region of Illinor. Not many came this way without making a fatal step off a cliff, cave or into a crater. Not many trees inhabit the area so many fae are cautious of coming out into the cliffs. Xanthus was the first to explore without fatal mistakes. He created safe passage for others so they could share the wondrous sights and discoveries. Creating maps of the cave networks or a laid out path through the open fields. Xanthus built up a group of fae and they all began working on growing a forest in the desolate landscape to make it more suitable for living. Jin was then officially made a small town when many built small houses or an inn for explorers to visit. Jin began to grow and grow. As each of the new species arrived in Jin the town openly let them in.
The town was peaceful and calm. A forest had been grown next to the town too. The cliffs were no longer impossible to explore once the fairies and avian shifters explored together. Peaceful and calming was the setting of the town.
Not too long ago, but before the betrayal of mortals, the city of Jin was met by its most tragic disaster. The disaster was not just a cave in of the cliff, or an earthquake, no it was not a natural disaster which often struck the city. It was complete oblivion. The town was destroyed by a small growing fae. The fae was referred to as Knives. At first no one believed this to be possible, all that was found of the town were the citizens, dust of the town and the unconscious Knives. The mortals of the town ran the kid off before any could make decisions on whether he was the one who did it or not. The mortals began to blame all of the downfalls of Jin upon the fae child. Once everyone settled down over the matter and mortals had made him an outlaw with a major reward for his capture they began to rebuild.
When the betrayal occurred the fae were so torn that they ran the mortals out. The town remains as of today impaired but has made a comeback and is much of the way rebuilt already. Many buildings have been replaced, but time flies by as the work moves slowly.
